Our once-a-week Fall Lacrosse Skills Development Program runs September 13th through October 25th!
Our fall program emphasizes age-appropriate fundamental lacrosse skill development, structured games, and scrimmages for both boys and girls, ages 6-15. The program is run by our amazing group of spring team coaches. Let’s shake off some of the rust, continue to develop skills for the spring, and have lots of fun out there!
Sessions are FREE and 100% OPTIONAL. Fall sessions should be attended in addition to your fall sports. We are strong believers in multi-sport athletics, so join us whenever you're not on the ice or another field. Fall sessions are scheduled to minimize conflicts with your athlete's traditional fall sports commitments.
Prior experience playing lacrosse is NOT REQUIRED. However, players are required to have proper equipment.
If acquiring equipment poses an undue hardship, please contact us at needequipment @ cambridgeyouthlacrosse.org or ask a coach at any practice session for more information on equipment availability and our lending policies.
Families that borrow equipment from CYL are responsible for returning all borrowed equipment at the end of each season. Any lost or broken items will be subject to appropriate replacement costs.

Lacrosse is a great game, and our coaching philosophy starts with the belief that playing lacrosse is fun for everyone. If your son or daughter is interested in playing lacrosse, whether he or she is just beginning or has been playing for years, we hope they will play with CYL. We want your boys and girls to work hard, to learn some skills, to run around, to play fair, to make some friends, and to take some risks. There are a ton of new and challenging situations we will put your children through, and as they go through these situations and sometimes succeed and sometimes fail, we will support them relentlessly, and in the process, they will gain new confidence and have a ton of fun.
